Sharpsburg and Neighboring Area Water System
October 2024 – October 2025

MB Construction completed a 16.3-mile rural water main installation in Christian County, Illinois,
consisting of 4” and 6” pipe along with gate valves, flush hydrants, road and waterway
directional drilling, and associated appurtenances. The project also included approximately 50
service connections and three pipeline crossings.

Originally scheduled for 515 consecutive calendar days, the project was substantially completed
in just 120 days—well ahead of schedule—while maintaining good standing throughout
construction. This project highlights MB Construction’s ability to efficiently deliver large-scale
rural infrastructure with a strong focus on schedule performance and quality execution.
