Working in partnership with the City of St. Louis and Midwest Meter, MB Construction is
performing a large-scale upgrade of the city’s water metering system. The project includes
retrofitting existing meters ranging from 5/8” to 12”, installing new meters from 1.5” to 10”, and
completing 18” to 36” pit replacements across both residential and commercial properties.

To support efficient scheduling and customer coordination, a dedicated call center was
implemented to streamline communication and workflow management. Work has been
performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, requiring adaptability across a wide range
of site conditions.

To date, MB Construction has completed 4,843 meter changeouts and 4,410 meter retrofits,
along with 4,654 and 4,296 GPS coordinate captures respectively. With an additional three-year
contract extension secured, this ongoing program highlights MB Construction’s ability to
manage high-volume, citywide infrastructure upgrades with precision, organization, and
scalability.
